Bathroom plumbing rough-in with PEX and waste pipes ready for inspection, Central Coast NSW

Bathroom Installation & Repair

About

Bathroom plumbing has two stages that cannot be faked: the rough-in, when every water and waste line is set before the walls close, and the fit-off, when the tapware, pan, cistern, shower and vanity go on. CH Plumbing Projects handles both, plus the repairs that appear years later when a tap lets go or a shower waste starts to leak into the floor.

We work with homeowners and builders across the Central Coast and Hunter. Recent examples include a two-bathroom PEX rough-in at Tuggerawong and new sewer and waste services set before the slab at a Woy Woy studio. That project sequence — sewer and wastes first, water second, inspection, then linings — is how bathrooms stay dry.

Bathroom rough-in

  • Set-out with you or the builder so the shower, vanity, pan and bath land where the room needs them

  • Hot and cold water in copper or PEX as specified

  • Waste and venting with the correct fall

  • Floor waste and shower set-downs coordinated with the waterproofing plan

  • Inspection-ready work under NSW Plumbing Licence 478768C

Fit-off and repairs

  • Tapware, mixers, shower rails and concealed cisterns

  • Toilet suite replacement

  • Vanity and basin connections

  • Leaking shower wastes and failed tap bodies

  • Tempering valves and tempering-valve servicing where required

Why the rough-in is the job that matters

A tap can be changed in an hour. A waste with no fall cannot. Most bathroom failures we are called to years later started as a rushed rough-in: a pan set off-square, a shower waste with no set-down, a hot line run without insulation against a cold cavity. We treat the rough-in as the part of the bathroom you will still be living with in fifteen years.

FAQs

Do you only do the plumbing, or the whole bathroom?

We do the plumbing. Waterproofers, tilers and builders handle their trades. We coordinate so our work is ready when they need it.

Can you work to someone else’s plan?

Yes. Bring the drawings. We will flag anything that will not drain or will not pass inspection before the walls go up.

Do you repair existing bathrooms as well as new ones?

Yes. Leaking showers, running cisterns and failed mixers are standard repair work.
