About
Sewer work is the part of plumbing you do not get a second cheap chance at. Once the slab is poured or the landscaping is down, a failed sewer becomes a disruptive repair. CH Plumbing Projects installs new sewer lines, repairs collapsed or displaced pipes, and clears major sewer blockages for properties from Newcastle to the Peninsula.
A current example is the Woy Woy studio slab: new sewer set and inspected before the concrete went down. That is the correct order. Doing it after the pour is possible. It is never cheaper.

How we decide repair versus replace
A single displaced joint can often be repaired. A line that is flat, broken in several places, or full of roots at every rubber ring needs replacement. We camera first where access allows, so the excavation is a planned trench rather than a hunt.
Local conditions
Sandy coastal ground and reactive Hunter clay both move. Unbedded pipe and poor compaction show up years later as bellies and pulled joints. We bed and haul to the spec the line needs, not to whatever is fastest to backfill.
FAQs
How do I know if the problem is the sewer and not a fixture trap?
If more than one toilet or drain is affected, or if you have sewage at a gully trap or boundary, treat it as the sewer until proven otherwise.
Do you work around an existing slab?
Yes. We plan the route to limit breakout. Sometimes a new line around the slab is cleaner than digging through it.
Can you coordinate with the builder before the pour?
That is the preferred job. Call early. 0434 237 193.
